Activision and Infinity Ward are hard at work putting the finishing touches on Call of Duty: Ghosts. Set for release on Nov. 5, Call of Duty: Ghosts looks to bring a number of changes and new game mechanics to the Call of Duty franchise. During a special multiplayer presentation of Call of Duty: Ghosts’ multiplayer on Aug. 14, Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin detailed the game’s new perk system, according to a report by Polygon.
Rubin explains that Call of Duty: Ghosts will have more perks than any Call of Duty has had before. As a result, Ghosts will offer new ways for players to select their perks of choice. During the multiplayer presentation, Rubin explained that the perk system is now point-based.
Each perk will have a point value ranging between 1-to-5 and that players will have a limit of 8-points to use towards these perks – this leads to a wide-range of possibilities for the player to customize.
Infinity Ward revealed a handful of perks of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Displayed during the multiplayer presentation were: Scavenger, Agility, Stopper, and Quickdraw, to name a few.
