Activision is certainly getting its money's worth when it comes to the "Call of Duty: Ghosts" ad campaign. Last night, the company released another video, this one live action that was directed by James Mangold and included a cameo from Megan Fox.
The ad appears to be a sort of mashup between "The Hangover" and "Call of Duty: Ghosts" as it shows four friends running and jumping and diving through rubble that used to be Las Vegas.
The video shows the four going through various stages that have been mentioned as being included in the actual game. There is even one spot where the group finds itself doing battle with the enemy while they are orbiting the earth.
Megan Fox makes her cameo around the middle of the video, first running a high powered machine gun, and then saving one of the friends as she blasts a drone out of the sky.
The ad throws in some decent comedy at this point as a member of the group stops to try and get the "Transformers" star's phone number before being quickly hustled away to more battle.
Activision has been clever in how they have marketed the most recent game in this long running series. The company has released several different teasers for the game, including a launch trailer that was actually released well before launch.
By releasing these videos here and there, the company has managed to keep the game fresh in everyone's mind and build up excitement.
"Call of Duty: Ghosts" is available on the Xbox 360, the PS3 and PC on November 5. It will be available on the Xbox One and PS4 on those consoles' launch day.
