The Australian branch of EB Games has revealed the contents of the limited edition for “Call of Duty: Ghosts,” possibly hinting at the launch date of the Xbox One. According to a report by Esperino on Aug. 28, Activision is planning to release a new bundle for the first-person shooting video game in Australia.
In addition to a copy of the video game, the package includes a collectible steelbook as a physical bonus. The digital extras feature the bonus digital patch pack, free fall dynamic bonus map as well as Simon “Ghost” Riley as a playable character in the online multiplayer mode.
Finally, the limited edition of “Call of Duty: Ghosts” also comes with a Double XP launch weekend event, which is set to begin on Nov. 9. Microsoft has not yet announced the launch date for the Xbox One although it is rumored to be scheduled for Nov. 8. The listing from EB Games may have leaked that Microsoft’s next-generation could be coming at around the same time as the latest “Call of Duty” title.
The Australian limited edition is available for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of “Call of Duty: Ghosts.” The special bundle will only be available at EB Games.
