Activision will have a big presence at this summer’s Gamescom bringing “Call of Duty: Ghost”, “Destiny”, and “Skylanders: SWAP Force”. The recently announced line up will showcase game previews and live-demo from the publisher. There will even be streams available for those unable to attend Gamescom.
“COD:Ghost” has been advertised as having an improvement in story and technology compared to its predecessors in the franchise. Gamescom will allow gamers a look at what the game is truly like. A multiplayer hand-on premier will be held at the event.
There will be a “COD: Ghost” multiplayer showcase live streamed from 17:00 BST on Wednesday, Aug. 21 thanks to Xbox and Twitch TV. Aceybongos and Major Nelson will be broadcasting the live gameplay with lots of special content. The broadcast will show gameplay from professional European players as well as interviews with the devs from Infinity Ward.
“Destiny” will be showcased in a huge 3-story theater in Old Russia during the exciting event. There attendants will be able to watch a seven-player live-demo of the upcoming game.
You’ll be able to find “Skylanders: SWAP Force” over at the Sony booth. There the game will be playable both on the PS3 and PS4. Activision will have they’re own booth at Gamescom were you can experience “Call of Duty: Ghost” and “Skylanders: SWAP Force” in a panoramic 190 degree cinematic theater display.
