Call of Duty Black Ops: Xbox 360 System Updates

Treyarch has been listening to the Call of Duty community and plans to make the game better for everyone. This game has had positive feedback from the community since release, however there are some things that the Call of Duty community would like improved. Treyarch has been listening, and they have solutions to the problems. They have made many adjustments to the game. Some updates are live, and some updates are in progress.

Updates in Progress:

  • Prevention of Valkyrie rockets exploding upon release.
  • Prevention of Gunship failing to give the player full control.
  • Prevention of the rare issue of players being teleported outside map boundaries.

Live Updates:

  • Improved spawn system to prevent bad spawns, and forced bad spawns due to negative spawn influences from specific game events.
  • Slight reduction in knife lunge range (experimental update).
  • Prevention of Prestige Glitches in Combat Training.
  • Improved matchmaking to find matches significantly faster.
  • Improved party system.
  • Additions to online security enhancements.
  • Map updates to prevent players from going outside map boundaries.
  • Stopped players from receiving an infinite number of care packages.
