‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ week one championship qualifier recap

Activision posted a recap yesterday on the "Call of Duty" Elite website of the week one qualifying matches for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” hosted by Major League Gaming that will determine the North American entries to the “Call of Duty” championship later this spring that will pit over 30 teams from around the globe to determine who the best “Black Ops 2” players in the world are. With the first week of the qualifying matches down, some skilled “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” players move one step closer getting their chance to win $1 million by earning a spot to compete in the championship tournament that kicks off this April.

Sponsored by Xbox, the “Call of Duty” championship will determine the best Xbox 360 player of “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” in the world when the event happens later this year. Teams from around the world will fight their way up the tournament which will be broadcast to all gamers who wish to watch as the contestants compete for the coveted $1 million top prize.
