‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ user-generated content storage taken offline (Photos)

Treyarch Studios announced yesterday that the ability to save user-generated content for “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” to storage, such as custom emblems and edited films made by gamers, is currently been disabled due to an unexpected issue. No time frame has been given on when this is expected to be resolved, but the developer assures fans that they are hard at work to fix it.

“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” allows players to create their own emblem to display for their online presence similar to a personal family crest. Additionally, gamers can watch online multiplayer matches as spectators by using the game’s Theater Mode. Fans can even edit these films and then save them. While the ability to create all forms of user-generated content in the game still exists, players simply cannot save their creations at this time.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is currently available on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo’s new Wii U.
