Treyarch announced today that, in celebration of the PS3 release of the Revolution DLC, they will be hosting a double weapon experience event on “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” all weekend long. Furthermore, instead of just having double weapon leveling on the Playstation 3, the developer is extending the event to all platforms. Players on PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Nintendo’s Wii U will all benefit from twice the normal amount of weapon experience starting tomorrow and ending on Monday morning.
This shouldn’t be confused with a double experience event in “Call of Duty: Black Ops2,” where players can level their character faster. Treyarch is instead offering double weapon experience this weekend. This bonus only goes to individual weapon skills. This is meant to allow Playstation 3 and PC gamers to quickly level up their new DLC-added weapon.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out now on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, and Wii U. The Revolution DLC is now available all systems except Nintendo’s Wii U.
