'Call of Duty: Black Ops 2' DLC officially available for Xbox 360 owners

Forget the Nuketown Zombies DLC that dropped back in December, the first real downloadable content pack for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2" is finally available for Xbox 360 owners today.

Title "Revolution" the DLC is a 1.86GB download that will cost you 1200MS Points (fifteen bucks) unless you're a Season Pass owner, meaning you've already paid for it. The DLC comes packed with four multiplayer maps, a zombie mode co-op map Die Rise, and a new SMG to toy around with.

Along with new maps and a new gun, you also get a new mode called Turned for the zombie side of the game. This allows players for the first time ever in the "Call of Duty" franchise to become a zombie and go after human players.

Treyarch didn't give any time frame for when the DLC would be dropped for the Playstation 3. David Vonderhaar, head of Treyarch said the standard time difference for releasing DLC on the PS3 after the Xbox 360 is around thirty days. In some cases, it's taken months.

In other words, Playstation 3 owners, don't hold you breath.
