Treyarch has today informed Playstation 3 owners that online play for the popular shooter, “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” may experience intermittent outages throughout the day due to maintenance on the Playstation Network. The developer wants fans to be prepared and understand the reason behind possible lost connections while playing the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” online as a result of the all-day PSN update.
The Playstation Network maintenance lasts most of the day today and, while gamers will find access to online features of the PS3 should be up most of the time, the update could periodically kick gamers from the online play of various titles. The Playstation Store and all account management operations will be fully down for the entire length of the maintenance.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out now for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo’s Wii U. Possible interruptions for online play today only effect Playstation 3 owners as the issue is brought on by the update to the Playstation Network.
