After being released first on the Xbox 360 one month ago, the final DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has now finally been made available to Playstation 3 owners. The release of the Apocalypse add-on for the popular first-person shooter was announced by the official Playstation Blog on Sept 26. The DLC also came out for the PC version of Black Ops 2 today.
Apocalypse adds four new maps for use within the game’s online multiplayer mode. The theme of these maps will place fans inside a sports stadium, a platform on the Pacific Ocean, an Art Deco town a archaeological desert site.
The fourth DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 also introduces a new zombie campaign which takes place during World War 1. The story, which is described as a diesel punk adventure, tells the story of how the undead crisis found inside the universe of Black Ops first began.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is out now on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, and PC. All four of the game’s DLC packs are now available on all systems except the Wii U, which won’t be receiving any of the add-ons.
