Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare may feature one of the biggest technological advancements for the series but the Xbox One version is still not running on 1080p.

During an interview between Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condry and Official Xbox Magazine, all gameplay videos featured at E3 2013 was from the Xbox One version of the game. While the graphics are an improvement thanks to the new game engine, it still not at 1080p running at 60fps.

According to studies done by Digital Foundry, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare graphic resolution for the Xbox Box One is at 900p. An improvement compared to Call of Duty: Ghosts, but more needs to be done as it failed to meet the 60fps.

Call of Duty: Ghosts for the Xbox One was panned by gamers for its poor graphics which ran at 720p. Meanwhile the PlayStation 4 version of the game featured graphics that were at 1080p and ran at 60fps.

Condrey has stated that Sledgehammer Games is working with Microsoft to take full advantage of the Xbox One software capability.

No research has been done on the PlayStation 4 version of the game but it has been speculated that its graphics will be featured in 1080p while running at 60fps.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be the eleventh game in the popular series that has sold over 100 million copies and on average has 40 million active players a month. The game will be set in a future were Private Military Companies have grown to have great influence while one of them decides to turn against America.
