Gamers have been champing at the bit to get a glimpse at the multiplayer mode for the new Activision and Sledgehammer Games title“Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare,” and it has finally been revealed. On Monday the official “Call of Duty” YouTube channel published the first trailer for “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” multiplayer, giving players a firsthand look at what's to come.

The two and a half minute video is action-packed, and it gives players an idea of what it will be like to play multiplayer in what Activision calls the “new era” of “Call of Duty.” One of the first new features gamers will notice is the booster function. This feature allows players to jump from the floor to a rooftop and beyond with ease. What's more intriguing is that players can also shoot while they are in mid-air; however, it remains to be seen if that's an option players love or hate.

The second major thing that stands out in the video is the player's ability to go invisible. The trailer only shows a few seconds of invisibility, so it's unclear how long you can stay that way, but it could be a game changer for sure.

You also get a look at some of the features of the maps. In the current “Call of Duty” title, “Call of Duty: Ghosts” each map has its own kill-streak reward like the ability to become horror movie ledges Michael Myers or the “Predator.” It's unclear if “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” will work the same way, but the trailer shows a spiraling missile drop and a tsunami, so it is a possibility.

“Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare” is set to hit store shelves on Nov. 4, 2014. It will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC for a starting price of $59.99. You can pre-order your copy today on
