Gamers have been shown much of the single player campaign for this year’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but developer Sledgehammer Games has remained silent about the game’s multiplayer mode thus far. However, that will change later this month at Gamescom as the first multiplayer gameplay trailer and details for Advanced Warfare will be shown to the public for the first time. Additionally, fans won’t have to attend the event live to see the premiere as the presentation will be streamed over Xbox Live according to a report by Game Informer on Aug 2.
The developers live premiere of the anticipated multiplayer mode for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will take plays on Aug 11 during this year’s Gamescom. In addition to giving gamers their first glimpse at multiplayer action with the reveal of a new trailer, the event will also feature interviews from various Sledgehammer Games team members. The developers will reveal new details about that will be coming to the popular FPS franchise as well as how they were implemented.
This year’s entry of the Call of Duty series is being developed by Sledgehammer Games, who fans might recognize as the co-developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The game is set in the near future where wars are fought with the help of the deadly evolution of technology. In Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, players will wear exoskeletons that enhance their natural strength and combat capabilities. To compliment the exoskeleton, fans will also have access to futuristic weapons and vehicles to bring war to a new era.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches this November for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and PC. The new series for the extremely popular shooter will place gamers inside of future conflicts where armies have become the domain of private corporations instead of sovereign nations.
