…from the pages of Sacred Scripture.
You can still call me nuts--and if you know me personally, you have evidence--but God has spoken to everyone today, personally, in a Love Letter, from the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
THINK ABOUT IT!
It is truly amazing!
Now, please, for the sake of a life-changing Christmas, follow along:
God the Father spoke first:
"To whom can you liken me as an equal? says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high
and see who has created these things…
Our Father speaks to us everyday! First, He speaks to us from our nature, and all that surrounds us. His good morning kiss is our first awakening breathe. Then He lovingly guides us all-day-long in all the people that we encounter along the Way…but we're getting ahead of ourselves.
Why, O Jacob, do you say, and declare, O Israel, 'My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is disregarded by my God?'…
The Father, as taught by Jesus, is always only an 'Our Father' away. The problem with us, his weak and weary children, is that we want our will, immediately, while shunning His Will away.
They that hope in the LORD will renew their strength, they will soar as with eagles’ wings; They will run and not grow weary, walk and not grow faint." Isaiah 40:25-31
Then the Holy Spirit spoke in the strangest of places:
"Bless the LORD, O my soul; and all my being, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
From within my mixed up head, and within my tumultuous heart, the Holy Spirit of God spoke to me these words of purpose, direction, praise, and sanity! And I'm sure I'm not the only one.
"He pardons all your iniquities, he heals all your ills. He redeems your life from destruction, he crowns you with kindness and compassion." Psalm 103;1-4, 8, 10
Then Jesus, hanging from the Cross of our salvation, in a perpetually Risen, and Eucharistic, state, spoke His gospel Word:
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.” Matthew 11:28-30
