California's primary and general election dates

Deadlines for voting registration are coming up in the following months. Individuals may register to vote in the state of California if they are a California resident, a United States citizen, will be at least 18 years old by the date of the election, are not in prison or on parole for a felony conviction, and have not been judged by a court to be mentally incompetent. Here is a list of California’s voting registration deadlines:

Primary election for Senate District 37 on April 13, 2010 voting registration forms should not be postmarked later than March 29, 2010.

Primary election for Assembly District 43 on April 13, 2010 voting registration forms should not be postmarked later than March 29, 2010.

General election for Senate District 37 on June 8, 2010 voting
registration forms should not be postmarked later than May 24, 2010.

General election for Assembly District 43 on June 8, 2010 voting registration forms should not be postmarked later than May 24, 2010.

Primary Elections on June 8, 2010 voting registration forms should not be postmarked later than May 24, 2010.

General Elections on November 2, 2010 voting registration forms should not be postmarked later than October 18, 2010.
