California lottery jackpot at $26 million

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot for Feb. 20 has reached $26 million, the California Lottery Commission announced Wednesday.

The estimated after-tax value of the jackpot is $18.6 million.

No one bought a winning ticket for the top lottery prize on Feb. 15, when the jackpot was $24 million.

Drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday after ticket selling ends at 7:45 p.m. PST.

Prizes range in size from $1 to the jackpot prize.

"Pick five lucky numbers from 1 to 47 and one MEGA number from 1 to 27 on a SuperLotto Plus playslip," according to the rules of play. "Or, play randomly generated numbers with Quick Pick."

Tickets cost $1 each.
