California Law School Dean Endorsements of Elena Kagan

With so much hubbub coursing through the information super highway today about the Elena Kagan law school deans endorsement letter, I thought it would be interesting to look at it the endorsements from a geographical persepctive and ask, "How exactly do these Kagan law school dean endorsements measure up in California?"

I admit, sorting out the Kagan endorsements this way also has to do with a growing interest I have in the Supreme Court in terms of geographic diversity. A handful of inquiring minds are concerned about the going trend (see this article).

Of the 69 law school deans who are endorsing Kagan through the June 7 letter, 6 are in California (2 endoresements are from the same law school).

The California law schools are:
