Don't miss this year's California Beer Festival in Marin County, held on Saturday, June 28th at the beautiful Stafford Lake Park in Novato. This year's event will feature 70 California craft beers on tap, with breweries coming together from as far north as Humboldt County and as far south as San Diego county—making this event the ultimate California craft beer tasting experience.
Beer sampling begins at 1:00pm and ends at 4:30pm, but be sure to arrive at 12:30pm—when the park opens—to nosh on some grub before tasting the beer. Enjoy garlic fries, gourmet sliders, delicious chicken wings, BBQ, fresh oysters, sausages, pickles prepared several ways, and sweet treats, as well as Indian, Mexican, and Polynesian cuisine from local food purveyors. Of course, the food purveyors will be selling food throughout the day. To accompany the festivities, musical performances by The Unauthorized Rolling Stones, The 85s, and IrieFuse will take place throughout the day as well. Great craft beer, good music, and delicious food—in the beautiful setting of Stafford Lake Park—what more could you ask for on a Saturday afternoon?
If you don't have your tickets yet, they can be purchased at the California Beer Festival website. General admission tickets are $45 and VIP tickets are $65 (prices include keepsake pint glass); designated driver tickets are $25.
