Calfornia cop killer: Manhunt fails, $1 million reward now offered

The manhunt for the alleged California cop killer, Christopher Dorner, has been called a failure. Now authorities in Los Angeles are offering a $1 million reward for the wanted man. According to a report by The Guardian, dated Feb. 10, the trail has gone cold in California.

The $1 million reward is for information about Christopher Dorner. The announcement of the reward was made in a joint press conference in California. Those involved in the press conference included federal officials, mayors and police chiefs.

“I wonder if Charlie Sheen will get the reward money, if [Christopher] Dorner calls him,” Rick Michaels, from Oklahoma City, said. “It would be hilarious if Charlie Sheen ends up helping to catch him.”

Christopher Dorner mentioned Charlie Sheen in a “manifesto” he released. Charlie Sheen reached out to Christopher Dorner, in a recorded message, asking Dorner to contact to him so they could “figure out how to end this thing.”

The search has been concentrated in California. Christopher Dorner has ties to Oklahoma. Despite this, it is not believed that he will return to the Sooner State. However, with the announcement of the $1 million reward, it is possible that people will be searching for Christopher Dorner all over, including Oklahoma.
