Cal vs. Utah Utes Wednesday night in San Diego at the Poinsettia Bowl, and the Utah Utes won 37-27.
Jordan Wynn completed 26 out of 36 passes with one interception, threw for a total of 338 yards (a career high), and three touchdowns. Kendrick Moeai caught two of touchdown throws, and Joe Phillips kicked three field goals. Stevenson Sylvester made an interception for a score in the fourth quarter.
Cal’s Kevin Riley completed 20 out of 36 passes for 214 yards, but had two interceptions.
The Utes have won nine consecutive bowl games and have the longest active bowl winning streak in the country. The streak started in 1999 the Utes beat Fresno state. Utah is ranked number 23.
BYU dominated OSU Tuesday night 44-20 at the Las Vegas Bowl.
