Cafe Vienna, formerly known by locals as the Austrian Bakery, is located north of downtown in Chicago’s bustling Lincoln Park neighborhood. With an eclectic vibe and décor style, Cafe Vienna offers Chicagoans a cozy getaway to enjoy their freshly baked European breads, pastries and Austrian fare.

The eclectic nature of this cafe goes beyond their décor as Cafe Vienna’s menu boasts an array of dining options, from the traditional Austrian breakfast to Belgian waffles to Greek omelets. For the bread and pastry aficionados, try their fresh-baked cranberry walnut and buttercrust bread, as well as their European-style Napoleon Slices. Their Croissant Sandwich, Eggs Benedict and Chorizo Scramble are all delicious options.

This quaint cafe can be found on popular Clark Street and opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Cafe Vienna patrons can enjoy a full display case of fresh foreign pastries with soothing background music and free Wi-Fi. Coffee drinkers can get excited, as they serve Intelligentsia coffee. Of note, Cafe Vienna has a small dining area and can get busy on weekends.
