Winter Blahs? Cabin Fever? Maybe the grandparents can help out by taking the kids on an outing, which would also allow the parents a time out. Or…make it a family outing.
There are plenty things to entertain right in the Columbus, Ohio area.
If ice skating is a favorite, head the kids on over to one of the Chiller Ice Rinks. There are 5 locations in and around Columbus:
- Lewis Center
Checkout their daily schedule and other information at their website: http://thechiller.com
If everyone doesn't ice skate, then the Galaxy FunGym might be the way to go. This fun indoor place is three stories high with slides and tubes that even the parents or grandparents can enjoy along with the children if they’re inclined to do so. They also offer an 18 hole golf course.
Visit their website or give them a call at 614-351-8400 for information on the admission for the kids. Adults are free.
Then there’s always the Fort Rapids Indoor Water Park for a taste of summer fun.
Whichever fun, cabin fever, getaway you choose, just getting out and about with the family and kids can bring smiles all around so don’t forget the camera!
