A taxi driver was found shot to death early Friday morning at a Clayton County condominium complex, and police are trying to determine if he was there to do a drop-off or a pickup.
So far, no one has been arrested in the shooting and police have not yet released the cab driver’s name or the company he worked for.
The investigation began around 1:30 a.m. when officers responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at Brookview Village Condos in the 200 block of Brookview Drive, according to Clayton County police.
Officers found the driver’s side of taxi shattered and the cab driver dead inside at the scene off Roberts Drive near Riverdale, police spokeswoman Officer Charlene Watson-Fraser said.
It's unclear how long the man had been dead before someone called about the vehicle.
It was also unclear how many times the man was shot and whether anything was taken from him or his cab.
