C.S. Lewis is one of the world's most recognized names, and not just among Christians either. He is known for writing the eternally-popular Chronicles of Narnia that have been adapted dozens of times for stage and screen, most recently by Disney. Literature experts know of his friendship with the creator of the Lord of the Rings, J.R.R. Tolkien and among scholarly types and theologians he is known for his apologetic writings like Mere Christianity and his spiritually-based fiction like The Screwtape Letters. Now fans of C.S. Lewis and The Screwtape Letters will have the opportunity to see the stage production of The Screwtape Letters performed at the Community Center Theater in Sacramento.

This stage production of The Screwtape Letters is presented by the C.S. Lewis Society of California and stars Max McLean. There will be two performances at the Sacramento Community Center Theater on Saturday, March 3 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. When the show appeared in San Francisco, it was sold out.
