Attorney William L. Henry, partner at Robinson & Henry P.C., 757 Maleta Lane, Castle Rock, CO 80108, was recently selected for membership in The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). The Academy is a professional association of attorneys dedicated to improving the quality of legal services provided to people as they age and people with special needs. The select NAELA membership is comprised of attorneys in the private and public sectors who deal with legal issues affecting people as they age and people with disabilities. Members also include judges, and professors of law.
In speaking about the Academy and its importance, Henry was both ecstatic and humbled. Being admitted into the Elder Law Academy is truly ‘icing on the cake’ for me."
Members of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys offer a wealth of information and expertise on topics ranging from long-term care to Medicare, Medicaid, and planning for disability. Mr. Henry is a member of a selective group of Academy members. He is currently one of only 67 premiere attorneys in Colorado that have met the qualifications to be included in the Academy’s roster out of more than 18,000 attorneys licensed in Colorado. Henry attributes his selection to his strong, compassionate manner is working with older clients.
Attorneys who would like to become members must render legal services for the benefit of the elderly or in an endeavor which encompasses the legal needs of the elderly; have an understanding of the aging process and sensitivity to the needs of the elderly; be committed to the highest standards of ethics in representing the needs or promoting the welfare of the elderly; have knowledge of the aging network and those services available through other agencies which benefit the elderly, or wish to gain such knowledge; and have a commitment to positive involvement in the work of the Academy and its purposes.
