BYU vs. Oregon State (OSU) MAACO Las Vegas Bowl game Tuesday night. Thousands of BYU Cougars and Oregon State Beavers fans traveled to Las Vegas Tuesday to see the sold out BYU vs. Oregon State Bowl game.
Last year, Las Vegas took in $14.2 million during the Las Vegas Bowl game, and because these two teams are ranked they expect it to be even better this year. The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said that last years’ game brought 32,700 visitors, and this year should be higher.
The Las Vegas Bowl is on ESPN at 7 pm. Quarterback Maxx Hall leads BYU. Sports Bars in Salt Lake City and Oregon hope people come out and watch the game.
BYU and the Utah Utes finished the season in the Top 25, but both teams have to win their bowl games to stay there. Oregon State was one win away from making it to the Rose Bowl this year.
