Bystander robs off-duty police officer injured in car accident

On Tuesday, and off-duty Saint Louis City Police Officer was in a car accident with her daughter. Moments later a bystander approached the injured mother and daughter and asked to borrow the officer's phone to call EMS for them. At which point, the woman ran off with the phone. Other bystanders acted to help the injured driver and her daughter. On-Duty police officers located the thief several blocks away as she attempted to sell the stolen cell phone. The unidentified 27-year old woman was arrested.
