When you start talking the 2014 World Am, being held, August 25-29 in Myrtle Beach, S.C., it's good to take a look at the numbers.

Be prepared, they may blow your mind.

3,405 - That is the number of golfers that will tee it up on August 25, 2014 for four rounds of golf, and then a fifth for the flight winners at the 31st annual World Am. It's competitive, it's fun and it's a memorable experience for all involved.

60+ - This is the number of golf courses that will be used for the 72-hole tournament. Players will get to experience a different course each day. Among the world class courses participants will play include: the four courses at Barefoot Resort, TPC Myrtle Beach, Rivers Edge, Pawleys Plantation and Wicked Stick.

76 - The number of flights the golfers are divided into by age, gender and handicap. Keeping track of all this is fun in itself.

291 - The number of women entered in the event. All have hopes of becoming the World Am’s fifth female world champion.

48 - Number of states represented at the World Am. Golfers are coming from 48 states with Idaho and South Dakota being the ones missing.

34 - Per World Am organizers: The field is comprised of players from 34 countries. The nations represented are: United States, Australia, Austria, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Germany, Ghana, Guam, Guatemala, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Jamaica, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Panama, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, United Kingdom, United States-Outlying Islands, Venezuela and the Virgin Islands.

60 - Number of exhibitors in the nightly golf expo.

120,000 - Number of square-foot for the 19th Hole. Held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Ceeter, this will run each night with food, drink, prizes and a demo alley. Golf personality, Win McMurry will be appearing on the main stage and the "Katrek and Maginness On Tap" radio show, which is broadcast nationally on Sirius/XM radio, will originate each afternoon/evening.

29 - As in August 29, when the World Championship Playoff takes place at Barefoot Resort’s Dye Club, where a champion will be crowned from all of the flight winners.
