BWF's 25th anniversary Take a Stand gala

Join the Boston Women's Fund Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel for their 25th anniversary Take a Stand gala.

This celebration of women and girl's empowerment features special guest Queen Latifah. The event includes a VIP reception, a dine-around main event, a dessert reception, and a celebrity meet and greet.

The BWF supports community-based organizations in the greater Boston area that are run by women and girls working to create a society based on racial, social, and economic justice. In 2009 they distributed $432,000 in grants to 33 organizations. They hope to raise and disburse $500,000 in Fiscal Year 2010. You can make a donation online.
