If you thought the upcoming Batman v.Superman: Dawn of Justice had enough cast members, then allow the film to prove you wrong. According to Deadline, the film has enlisted Scoot McNairy in the upcoming blockbuster. While McNairy is not a well known name, his resume of films is nothing but impressive. McNairy has been featured in several television shows such as How I Met Your Mother, CSI and Bones. His recent work is certainly getting audiences' attention. In the past few years, McNairy has been movies such as Kill Them Softly, Argo, 12 Years A Slave and recently Non-Stop. The actor also starred in the Marvel Studio One Shot, All Hail The King, and will be featured later this year in the David Fincher thriller: Gone Girl. McNairy can also be seen in the new AMC series: Halt and Catch Fire. So it is clear that Scoot McNairy is no stranger to being versatile, and now he can add this major film to his resume. However, there is one question some may be wondering: just who will McNairy be playing?

According to the report, it states that Scoot McNairy will not just be a part of Dawn of Justice, but his role in the film is a mystery. This could lead to number of possibilities. By establishing that McNairy's role is mysterious, it indicates that his character has some gravity behind him. It could be that McNairy will play a iconic hero, or his role could lead to something bigger for not the just the film but the entire franchise. At this time, all things are possible. Perhaps McNairy's role will be revealed at a later date, or maybe moviegoers won't know until Dawn of Justice hits theaters. We will see.

Scoot McNairy joins an enormous ensemble. Batman v.Superman: Dawn of Justice features Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck as the titles characters. Also featured in the film is Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto, Gal Gadot and Jason Mamoa.
