Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jesse and the gang are back for an all new adventure in Pixar/Disney’s “Toy Story of Terror,” airing Wednesday, October 16th at 8:00 p.m. on ABC. The special marks the first ever special for television for the popular franchise. Just in time for Halloween, the special is reminiscent of the animated specials that usually air on the network during the holiday season.
In “Toy Story of Terror,” the gang finds themselves out on a road trip with Bonnie and her mother in the middle of the night when their car breaks down. When they are not able to repair it until morning, the gang is forced to stay the night at an old, deserted motel (think Bates Motel). Throughout the night, the gang starts to disappear one by one thanks to a mysterious figure. Jessie with the help of Combat Carl, a new toy she meets along the way must save the day and overcome her biggest fear [being left all alone in a box].
The cast of "Toy Story OF Terror" includes Tom Hanks as Woody, Tim Allen as Buzz, Joan Cusack as Jessie, Carl Weathers as Combat Carl/Combat Carl Jr., Timothy Dalton as Mr. Pricklepants, Don Rickles as Mr. Potato Head, Wallace Shawn as Rex and Kristen Schaal as Trixie.
