Killers - Rent-it - Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher star in this film where Kutcher is a Bond-esque assassin dating the innocent and reserved Heigl, but it falls short of being any better than a Mr. & Mrs. Smtih-ish True Lies wannabe.
Solitary Man - Rent-it - This interesting character study stars Michael Douglas as this typical jerk self, and this time his indiscretionary ways leave his professional and romantic life in ruins.
MacGruber - Rent-it - This shockingly dirty and just-plain-wrong spoof on MacGyver truly is the best SNL film since Wayne's World, but that's not really saying that much now is it?
Movies re-released on Blu-ray format this week:
Lost in Space - Skip-it - Some people enjoy this special effects space comedy movie like I do Into the Blue or Fool's Gold, but even those people are fans of the cast more than the actual film.
Mars Attacks! - Rent-it - Those of you who haven't seen this big-budget, 1950s, flying saucer, B-movie parody need to - and the fact that Tim Burton and Jack Nicholson are involved should entice you! (if not, who about Annette Bening, Jim Brown, Pierce Brosnan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Glenn Close, Martin Short, Michael J. Fox, Jack Black, Natalie Portman, Rod Steiger, Tom Jones, Danny DeVito, and Christina Applegate?)
