Buttonwood Tree Continues with Exciting Performances For November

On November 11, eight Connecticut playwrights will read their work at 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The author's are seeking feeback from the audience.  Admission is $5.  On November 12th Forrest  Harlow and his Band will entertain you from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.  with songs of the human conditions. There is Mike Barone on drums and Justin Vood on bass. Forest is the singer, plays the autoharp and the keyboards. Admission is $10.

November 18 features The Hartt School of Music Guitar Student Showcase. Enjoy classical guitar and a vareity of different performers. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. The fun begins at 8 p.m. November 19 you have a double bill with the Wesleyan Spirits  and Dan Charness. Dan a former Spirit opens the show with one of the oldest male capella groups.  Later he performs with his sister a violionist songs from his lastest album. Admission is $10.

November Art Show Middletown High School Art Club will display their work at the Buttonwood Tree through November. The work of different students will be displayed. The show's formal opening will be on November 25 at 8:30 p.m.  Refreshments will be provided  The third Sunday of each month features poetry potluck a literary discussion of poetry. It runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m. A $5 dollar donation is suggested.
