Designer Manuel Facchini presented his Byblos Milano fashion show for Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 on September 18, 2013 in Milan, Italy.
Facchini focuses on multicolor ikkat and graphic black and white prints as well as solid colored dresses and separates that are all mix-and-match to great effect. In addition, Byblos Milano has a swimwear line utilizing many of the same prints.
Byblos Milano’s ikkat style multicolor print, which is featured on a mini with a flounced skirt, is particularly lovely, especially as it is paired with black and white stripes for added texturing. The black cutout bootie shoes (shoeties) were a perfect complement to the outfit as well. The shoeties are also available in cream.
Other notable pieces include a lovely bright yellow, topped off with a matching yellow leather moto vest, an ivory mini with a gold bodice that looks like a butterfly, a striking black and white diamond and chevron graphic print dress with three-quarter sleeves, and a pants ensemble with a black and white cutout butterfly motif.
As for their bags, Byblos Milano Spring/Summer 2014 offers some very lovely options, including the cream bag with a square cream handle and studs around the flap, the boat-shaped ostrich skin clutch with studs around the flap and a gold evening bag.
