Jimmy Butler will miss tonight’s game vs. the Charlotte Bobcats because of a sore left thigh. Tony Snell will start in his absence.

Butler sustained the injury in Friday night’s win in Milwaukee. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said that Cartier Martin – who signed a 10-day contract with the team on Friday – could see some minutes.

The Bulls will look to tie a season high fifth straight win at home against the Bobcats.

Thibodeau also addressed Joakim Noah not speaking to the media since Luol Deng was traded earlier in the week.

“There’s the disappointment in that he and Luol are very close because of the time they spent together and that’s natural,” Thibodeau said. “I also think he understands that part of the business. He’s going through a period where he’s also not feeling well. He played a great game (Friday) and in the two games (since the trade), he’s played very well. I think he’ll be fine.”
