Butch Blum invites you to moving party

As you may know, legendary Seattle fashion retailer Butch Blum is moving to a new location in just a few days. To celebrate the move, he's inviting you to a moving party and offering up some pretty sweet deals in exchange for a hand with the last minute details.

On Saturday, March 1, the store will officially transition from their Fifth Avenue location to their new space on Union Street just north of Sixth Avenue. To celebrate, customers are being invited to partake in a "short, happy walk followed by a decadent brunch at our brand new store," per an announcement on the store's blog.

The day will start at their current location of 1408 Fifth Ave. at 10 am, and if you would be so kind as to grab a stool, light fixture or other small item and help move it to the new store, you'll be handsomely rewarded with "a decadent brunch, complete with Bloody Marys and Bellinis." You'll also earn 10% off your first purchase in the new store, and be entered to win an advance copy of Lunch at the Shop by Seattle's own Peter Miller. To cap it off, the store will be holding a drawing for a $500 gift certificate.

The store asks that you RSVP by e-mailing promotions@BUTCHBLUM.com or calling 206-622-5760.
