Current WWE superstar Chris Jericho might just need that rumored storyline of being the number 30 participant for the Royal Rumble on Sunday. According to a Thursday January 26th report by Yahoo! Sports, Jericho will have a seminar in Tampa early Saturday morning for his D-1 training facility, then catch a flight to Louisville so he can drive to the WWE house show in Evansville Indiana, and concluding his long day with a drive to St. Louis for the Royal Rumble PPV on Sunday.
Jericho claimed that if he is the first wrestler eliminated from the Royal Rumble match, it would be because he's worn out from the traveling on Saturday. Jericho is heavily rumored to win the Rumble match and possible be the 30th entrant.
Another rumor that's making the rounds is that the WWE is considering changing up a few matches at WrestleMania 28. In particular there's been chatter backstage about possibly placing Chris Jericho with Undertaker instead of CM Punk. As of now, this just an idea and has not replaced the penciled in bout of Jericho vs. CM Punk.
