Dawn Hall writes this book. Mrs. Hall is a very sweet and sincere lady. After I purchased this book and looked at her picture on the back, I thought I knew her! So, I emailed her and asked her about the place I thought I knew her from. Well, it turns out we did not know each other, but the got back to me quickly about the matter. I thought that showed she walked in integrity and that meant a lot to me!
The book contains over 150 recipes and they are all low-fat and healthy recipes! Many of the recipes can be prepared in thirty minutes or less.
The chapters include:
Christmas Eve Dinners
Breakfasts & Brunches
Christmas Day Dinners
Kid’s Birthday Party For Jesus
Cookie & Candy Exchange
Edible Gifts
And
Using Leftovers
A few of my favorite recipes are:
Cranberries & Cream Smoothie, Christmas Mixed Berries breakfast Sandwich, Warm Mint Milk, Broccoli Casserole, Easy Oven Roasted Turkey With Gravy and Cherry Cream Cookies made with her Homemade Sweet Baking Mix.
The way that this book is laid out is really special. Each section includes a meal theme. Then, according to that theme, there are several recipes listed for you to make. Here is an example: Chapter 1, page 12 Italian Christmas Eve Dinner… Italian Christmas Salad, Busy Holiday Bruschetta, Super Easy Lasagna, Herbed Cauliflower and Warm Spiced Cherries over Pears. Doesn’t that sound wonderful? And every dish is easy and quick to prepare.
All in all, this is a great Christmas cookbook to add to your collection. You will find something new to make year after year.
