Business: News world is old, updating is not taking progress

For many years there have been those around the world complaining about the lack of true news reports in the major news agencies. Looking over much of the news recently, the bigger money is getting noticed by these same organizations, while more events occur but do not gain attention. If information was still the news industry’s purpose, these stories should be gaining attention. Instead the industry is losing the major organizations, each finding their readers are going away. The news business then is shifting; the public has had enough of the boring money promotions. Getting back to the truth is what the public is looking for; getting the truth will not come from the news mainstream.
Complaints about the western news agencies have been seen around the world for years. With the not so past ending of “News Corp,” these complaints have gained more justifications. Still the major news organizations have not taken up the concept of meeting the public’s needs for accurate information. More concerns are given to those news items in the established business advertising and self-promotion areas. Thus the big money, once established is gaining more interest than those who are in competition.
Monsanto and others spent so much to get California’s proposition 37 voted out, even so they are now attempting to gain federal protections. But the movement is still on, only there is no national news over such. Nor is there any information about the Canadian organic standards being accepted by Switzerland. The major agencies are falling behind once more, every looking for the big money they fall to see the need to inform the public. The basis of public information has its effect, with more major agencies finding fewer subscriptions and more failures.
The public wants news, as accurate and up-to-date as possible, but the major agencies refusals to report such are being readily seen, this puts stress upon the public. Considering the public’s need for truthful information to provide means in life, the public has responded by walking away from the less factual outlets. As already seen the same public is now looking through less conventional means to gather the truth, even if it has to be at a risk. But the need exist for those willing to tell the truth, questioning the information is what a journalist is meant to do not promote big money. Those losing in this industry are doing so by only playing attention to what big money intends to tell, not by finding the truth.
Major western news organizations, following only what money tells them are wasting everyone’s time, the stories printed have all the same idea of big money behind them. See if you can find any of them reporting about the GMO labeling for New Mexico, the Canada standards lacking, or even yard battles in your area. They are not reporting the news that is important to the individual, but only to what is important to those who are offering to pay for promotions. As such any information they offer must be subject to a creditability check, lacking the truth in such reporting the public is in need of others. This opens the door for so many other agencies to fill reports, shifting the public’s attention to other sources and less for the conventional agencies.
The signs are there, the conventional news centers are going away, to be replaced by the truthful and less paid-off organizations. This will help in getting the real facts and issues before the public, but as with infrastructure it takes time to build. The major agencies are not will to invest in such facts or issues, seen as going supporting the current infrastructure, therefore funding not made available. Those with personal interest in the big money are only supporting letting the public see what they want, controlling the information to control the public’s view. But reality bites hard into everyone’s life, and false information is what has caused so many damages so often.
Learning the facts from the lies is what we more of, but until the mainstream media is willing to report such we will have to look hard for it. Those supposedly leading are meant to represent the majority, thus the majority should be able to gain facts from them. But how many times have the same representation failed to offer such, so the need for accuracy in reporting is there, but fewer are willing to state such. The majority of news agencies simply are not willing to overlook the “Dark Money” involved from their special friends.
