Business Impact Group, a Minnesota-based athletic uniform supplier and printing services provider, is expanding its presence in Chanhassen with a new office-warehouse building.

The company, led by founder and CEO Paul Taunton, Monday was readying construction after winning approval from the Chanhassen City Council to construct a new 39,240-square-foot warehouse across from its current headquarters building at the Chanhassen West Business Park.

Known as BIG, the company has 100 employees and was projecting revenues of $50 million in 2013, Twin Cities Business reported.

The new warehouse at 2411 Galpin Court would join BIG's existing 50,000-square-foot office-warehouse building, constructed in 2008. The plans, from Houwman Architects, show 35-foot-high ceilings and building materials including aggregate panels and stone veneer wainscoting.
