Business: Federal contracts, affect employees and our rights

The movement to privatize governmental operations has been occurring for some time. Big business is no longer waiting for governmental agencies to agree on focuses they want; instead the business wants to become the agencies. This means less neutrality in governmental operations, and more directed controls from boardrooms with no one to speak for the public. We have seen in the past what happens when people are not represented by authority, their rights are forgotten as the board members feel frightened. Today there is a lot of talk about how the federal government is focused on micro-managing individual lives. But with the agencies under controls of big money and business, is it the federal government or the money’s attempt to micro-manage.
Governmental operations produce products which, as a collective, we all need. Security if among the top of these, but security also must come with the public’s ability to trust such. Conditions being what they are we are seeing less and less reasons to trust a centralized authority which has lost its self-control. The public trust then is on shaky ground already, but it will get worse as fewer jobs and opportunities are available to the governmental employees. Big business has wanted for some time to restrict and control federal authorities; the best way is to become such authority.
Getting the government to focus on what money wants has always been a hazard, but it gets easier without federal oversight. Thus we have privatization coming into government, big money has pushed for this saying it can do a better job therefore should be doing the job. But the public has no real authority over such, nor are there many who offer resistance and controls via regulations to assure the public. In fact with less governmental employees, there are fewer to enforce any regulation, thus less chances to expose violations. The loss of neutrality in thinking will lead to more violations, which will simply be reported less and less.
The ability to do as any boardroom wants comes only if those making the decisions agree not to report any violations. The results of organized crime indicate this is the main reason the crime is called organized, they take the opportunities not to report. Those supporting fairness and equality do report violations they have knowledge about, but corruption does not willingly. Instead its fears the thought of having to be restricted, believing instead it can not make gains that way. And individuals not represented by such are also not given a chance to air their differences over any matter.
Giving others even a moment of thought requires both a conscious mindset and empathy for others. To corruption, nothing of importance exist outside of this corruption, therefore no one is their equal or meant to be represented at all. Allowing authority to be centralized based only on the idea more profits, centralizes as well who is held responsible for the actions taken. And responsibility does not occur without oversight, but privatizing governmental authority leaves out oversight. Already we are seeing how the federal government is acting, furthering the micro-management of political ideologies which do not hold to reality.
The focus to control individuals leaves the organized businesses with fewer oversights, and less federal employees to check for violations of such. Thus the level of corruption we have already seen in big industries will increase, without the individuals who can or will offer public resistance. Governments exist to offer support to the lives of individuals making up the public within its borders. Supporting that public can only be done without the corruption being allowed to run the systems. Public protections are instilled by the very nature of those in governmental agencies who are looking out for the same public.
Control directed by big money making gains, only ends with the government being run by those seeking personal interest. And someone will have to pay for this; the debits will come to the public treasury as it has always done. The difference here is the public will have no knowledge or means of knowing who is spending all these funds. We need the governmental workers as a safety gap, a means of knowing what is going on in our regards and by whom to hold accountable.
