Busch takes Monster Energy, No. 54 to JGR Nationwide stable

Kyle Busch Motorsports owner Kyle Busch, who also drives in the Sprint Cup Series for Joe Gibbs Racing, is bringing the No. 54 and sponsorship from Monster Energy to the JGR Nationwide Series stable for 2013. Busch will still operate the KBM Nationwide Series team, with Parker Kligerman behind the wheel of the No. 77 Toyota Camry for the full season.

Busch, who recently signed a long-term contract extension with JGR, will still be focusing on the success of KBM. “I’m extremely proud of what we have accomplished in a short period of time at KBM in both the Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series," said Busch on the JGR website. "When we started KBM our attention was to build something for the long term and now we are going to put a greater focus on our future with Parker (Kligerman) competing in Nationwide and Joey (Coulter) running trucks.”

The No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota with crew chief Adam Stevens will run the full Nationwide Series schedule for JGR, with Busch scheduled to drive the majority of the races in 2013; other drivers for the No. 54 will be announced soon.
