Busch Gardens is gearing up for a great season with fabulous events, exciting shows and lots of special deals, offers and coupons. Check out all of the money-saving deals the park has for the 2013 season.
Season Pass Offers
2-Park Summer Fun Pass (ages 3 and up) – One of the best offers of the summer, guests can spend unlimited fun at both Busch Gardens and Water Country USA through Sept. 2 with the 2-Park Summer Fun Pass. This pass is just $99 and can be purchased online by visiting buschgardens.com/va or watercountryusa.com. Purchase at either park beginning on May 18, 2013. The 2-Park Summer Fun Pass does not include parking or in-park discounts.
“With this special pass, families can fill their 99 days of summer with fun for just a dollar a day,” said Dan Dipiazzo, vice president of marketing for Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. “Guests can take a thrilling ride on Verbolten at Busch Gardens, plunge down Vanish Point at Water Country USA, plus enjoy concerts and events all summer.
Busch Gardens Fun Card holders can upgrade to the 2- Park Summer Fun Pass for $29 by visiting a Busch Gardens or Water Country USA ticket window, or the Guest Relations office. Summer Sizzler members can upgrade for $50.
Sesame Street Forest of Fun Preschool Pass – This pass will now include admission to both Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA for qualifying Virginia residents. Passes must be redeemed and registered by May 31.
This online-only offer is available to Virginia residents between the ages of 3 and 5 at the time of registration. It gives unlimited admission to both parks through Sept. 2, 2013. Proof of age is required at the time the passes are redeemed. The passes must be redeemed by May 31, 2013, and can be redeemed at either park. Visit buschgardens.com/va and click the “special offers” tab. Children under age two receive complimentary admission and do not need to register.
Busch Gardens Coupons
- Chick-fil-A – Visit participating Chick-fil-A restaurants in Hampton Roads, Richmond or Central Virginia for $7 off a single-day ticket to Busch Gardens or Water Country USA. The discount can be doubled online by entering the promo code found on promotional materials at participating Chick-fil-A locations. This coupon expires on July 14, 2013.
- Food Lion – Participating Food Lion stores in Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania will offer $7 off single-day tickets to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. This discount can also be doubled online by entering the promo code found on the in-store promotional materials. The double coupon offer can also be obtained by showing your Food Lion MVP card at any Busch Gardens or Water Country USA admission window. This offer expires July 14, 2013.
On-Going Busch Gardens Deals
- Meal Deal Package – Purchase meals ahead of time for savings of up to 40 percent. Receive one lunch and dinner certificate for $22. Each certificate is valid for one entrée and one regular non-alcoholic beverage. This package is available online or at the Busch Gardens’ ticket window.
- Busch Gardens + Colonial Williamsburg Bounce Ticket – Enjoy history, fun and something for the whole family with the bounce ticket. The bounce ticket offers unlimited visits to Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg for up to seven consecutive days (from the date of the first use). Save up to $28.95 when purchased online. Price: $120 (ages 13+), $95 (ages 6-12) and FREE (ages 0-5). This is a great offer for a family spending a week-long vacation in the Williamsburg area.
- Busch Gardens Williamsburg Fun Card – A standard of the season, the Fun Card lets guests pay for a day and get unlimited admission to the park through Sept. 2, 2013. The Fun Card does not include parking and is not valid for Halloween or Christmas Town. Price $70 (ages 3+).

- Busch Gardens’ Food and Wine Festival – Busch Gardens is planning its first-ever food and wine festival. Scheduled to take place on weekends May 31-June 23, this is one event that this Examiner is looking forward to. Expect lots of delicious dishes, special events and guest chefs.
- Verbolten 1st Birthday – Join Busch Gardens on May 18 as the park celebrates the first birthday of its newest roller coaster, Verbolten. One lucky guest will win a 2013 Mini Cooper Roadster as part of this milestone event.
