Always one to stay current with emerging technology and new trends, SeaWorld Parks announced last week the launch of their new mobile website designed to work with Android, Apple and Windows phones. The innovative site allows for the purchase of park tickets (single day, multi-day and season passes) with the digital admission available directly on the phone, allowing guests to go straight to the front gate. In addition to ticket purchases, driving directions or a park map will be suggested upon loading the site based on your location. According to the press release, users of the site can expect:
- a simplified mobile purchase experience with images, text and easy steps for the entire process.
- based on the tickets purchased, a suggestion of additional experiences and adventures, including behind-the-scenes tours, up-close animal interactions or dining options to make their visit to the park even more memorable.
- to receive the most relevant content, products, offers and promotions based on their location to the parks.
Busch Gardens Williamsburg also announced the return of the popular Sesame Street Forest of Fun Preschool Pass. In addition to allowing unlimited free admission through September 3 for children ages 3-5 with the pass, admission to Water Country USA is included this year as well. In order to receive the pass, parents must register their children online and redeem the pass at the park by May 31, 2013.
