The flu has become quite an epidemic this season all across the nation. As is the case with any kind of virus, it is not being selective in who will get it, or who will end up sick. This is exactly the case for Burt Reynolds who is now in the ICU because of the flu reports NY Post on Jan. 25.
It is unknown whether Reynolds received a flu shot this season as it has been proven in several cases this year that it really doesn't matter with so many different strains going around. A representative for Burt Reynolds claims that he fell ill with flu like symptoms several days ago and when the symptoms began to worsen instead of improve he was rushed to the hospital.
Now, he is resting in a Florida intensive care unit where doctors claim that he was severely dehydrated when he came in. He is expected to make a full recovery. Fans wish the veteraned mustached actor well wishes in his recovery.
