Box Brands, Inc. has placed a Burritobox vending machine at the U.S.C. campus today, making it the first college campus in the nation to host the famous kiosk. The machine which is located in the lobby of the Parkside Apartments on McClintock Ave offers a choice of five burritos at only $3 each. The flavors are roasted potato with egg and cheese, bacon with cheese, chorizo with egg and cheese, shredded beef and cheese and free-range chicken with beans and rice. All of the choices are hormone-free and antibiotic-free.

There are two other locations in Century City and West Hollywood. The Burritobox machines offer the students a somewhat healthy choice for anytime snack or late night meal. The choices are decent and the price is reasonable. Blake Mullins, vice president of operations for Box Brands, Inc., which owns Burritobox, said that the company is already considering placing a second kiosk on the USC campus depending on how well the first one does in sales.
