'Burnout Paradise 2' readying for Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4

As time continues to go on and E3 2013 gradually gets closer and closer, more next-generation titles will be introduced and revealed, and that has been demonstrated with the tease of yet another sequel.

According to a report from StickSkills on Friday, "Burnout" creator at Criterion Games, Alex Ward, decided to throw out a little bit of a tease to "Burnout Paradise" fans regarding a second installment in the series.

"If we were to make a sequel to 'Burnout Paradise' - what should be in it? #BurnoutParadise2," Ward said.

This open-world racing game looks like it will be indeed receiving a second installment.

It will be a follow-up to the initial title that was a major success, which received critical and consumer acclaim.

The previous title that Criterion Games worked on and released was the EA franchise "Need for Speed Most Wanted."

With the success of the most recent "Most Wanted" title, it's hard to think a new "Burnout Paradise" would not be successful as well.

No official release date or other details have been confirmed from the developer, but you can read all about it here when they are ready to divulge more.
