Saturday, the burned body of a 10-year-old girl was found in a trash bin in Georgia; the Gwinnett County Police Department responded to a 911 call early Saturday morning after a man called and said he planned to commit suicide; the police found the man standing near the trash bin, according to CNN.
The man also told the 911 operator that his 10-year-old daughter had died and he was near her body. He said that she drank a chemical and died.
After the police arrived on the scene in Lawrenceville, the man directed them to the location of the body of his daughter in the trash bin.
Lawrenceville is approximately 30 miles northeast of Atlanta. The body was found in a trash bin in an apartment complex.
The 10-year-old girl was identified as Emani Moss. Eman Moss is the father, and the stepmother is Tiffany Moss, according to Fox News. The police searched the man’s apartment, but didn’t find evidence of a fire nor did they find anyone else. The father of the girl and her stepmother were arrested Saturday; both have been charged with a first-degree felony of cruelty to children and concealing a body.
