Burn 2, successor to the popular Burning Life in Second Life, opens next weekend, on Saturday October 16. Although smaller than last year, it will still be a flowering of creative expression that Burning Life has always been, and as always there will be live performances by some of Second Life's best performers.
This picture shows Aamira Aeon's "Experience the First Manned Flights" exhibit, where your avatar can fly in an 1783 hot air ballon or an 1891 glider.
Over the next few days, this column will feature photographs of some of what you can see and experience at Burn 2. I've also produced a machinima showing some of the attractions. You can watch it either by clicking the link on the left or on YouTube or Vimeo.
